Jimmy Carlucci, MD

Dr. Carlucci is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Pediatric Infectious Diseases and Global Health at Indiana University School of Medicine. His research is primarily focused on improving retention of HIV-exposed infants in prevention of mother-to-child transmission services in sub-Saharan Africa. That said, there are many similarities between the HIV-exposed infant continuum of care in Africa and the pediatric services that are recommended for Hepatitis C (HCV)-exposed infants in the United States. Therefore, Dr. Carlucci has taken a clinical, quality improvement, and research interest in the management of HCV-exposed infants.
